JOIN US AND CELEBRATE INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY!
The Homeless Period Project is a 501(c)3 grassroots organization founded in June 2015 by Stephanie Arnold and Sharron Champion in Greenville, SC. HPP has grown! Individuals, Groups and Companies are hosting Period Parties and helping communities across the United States. HPP donates to over 100+ organizations in South Carolina and throughout the U.S each month. HPP provides menstrual hygiene products to the homeless, shelters, resettled refugees, schools, free medical clinics, food banks, section 8 housing, etc.
This year's theme for International Women's Day is #EqualforEqual - it's a global day for celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. It also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality, and this year The Homeless Period Project is spotlighting Menstrual Equity, as our organization partners with others to eliminate taxes on menstrual products and for these products to be provided in school restrooms around the globe.
