About Us
Homeless Period Project was founded in 2015 by Stephanie Arnold and Sharron Champion, two Greenville residents. We have grown from a founder-lead project to a staff-lead organization that is currently in all 46 counties in SC, providing products to over 800 schools and 400 partnering organizations. In 2021 HPP separated from Sharron Champion, hiring a new Executive Director, program director and strengthening our Board of Directors. HPP continues to strive to provide menstrual products to those in need as well as advocate and educate the public about period poverty.
